J. Daniel Rogers was born in Gadsden, Alabama and grew up in Alabama, Georgia and Tennessee. He is the son of James and Nancy Rogers of Cookeville, Tennessee. In 2001, he married the former Jamie Lewis of Atwood, Tennessee and they have two daughters: Alyssa and Abigail. Daniel and his family are members of the North Jackson church of Christ. He is an avid Alabama football fan and enjoys fishing, hunting, kayaking, hiking, camping, gardening, and spending time with his family.
Daniel received his undergraduate degree from Freed-Hardeman University and his law degree from the University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law in 2008, where he was a member of the Moot Court Board and received recognition as the Best Oral Advocate in his Legal Methods class. He has been a licensed to practice law in Tennessee since 2008 and has been admitted to the Federal District Court for the Western District of Tennessee since 2010. His practice has included numerous jury trials and appeals and he handles cases in the areas of personal injury, family law, criminal defense, business contracts and probate. He joined the Watridge & Tubbs Law Firm in Humboldt in November, 2016.
